Your Jasper reminds me of the Morgan mare my daughter owned for 28 years. Bright chestnut with a flaxen mane and tail. The mare died, aged 32, seven years ago. We miss her very much.
Maggie,
Sorry for your loss, but what a wonderful long life your mare lived! I didn’t grow up with horses, but they definitely imprint into your life quickly and deeply and now I’m hooked.
Please feel free to comment or respond - we may take a bit to get back to you (between feeding animals, mucking stalls, mending fences, and chasing the goats out of the chicken coop again!) Cancel reply
Word for Today
"Do you know when the mountain goats give birth? Do you watch when the doe bears her fawn?Do you count the months till they bear? Do you know the time they give birth? They crouch down and bring forth their young; their labor pains are ended. - Job 39:1-3
